Karwa Bus is the public bus network operated by the government-owned Mowasalat. These mostly electric, air-conditioned buses connect Doha to all major towns. Metrolink, the feeder bus network, supplement metro services by shuttling passengers to and from metro stations. For more information, download the Karwa Journey Planner app.
metrolink: metrolink is a feeder bus network providing first and last mile connectivity to Qatar Rail customers within 2 to 5 kilometer radius of the Doha Metro stations. Fare: FREE Metrolink users have the option of using Karwa Smart Card or QR Code (available on Karwa Journey Planner App), or using Doha Metro & Lusail Travel Card to tap in and out when boarding and alighting from the bus. There will be no charge imposed when using any of the options. To use QR Code: Open the Karwa Journey Planner App on your mobile phone (or download the app and register first), go to Cards & Favorites on the Menu, select the metrolink QR Ticket – Free option, click on the QR Code box to display the full QR Code. Scan the QR Code on the reader in the bus. Operating Hours: Saturday - Thursday 05:00 AM – 01:00 AM. Friday 09:00 AM – 01:00 AM. Additional Information on metrolink can be found at: 1. The Karwa Journey Planner App (Available both on iOS and Android) – Download the app to track the routes and buses in real-time. 3. Metro Station Entrance Shelters and Bus Stops: metrolink route maps can be seen at metro station entrance shelters that the metrolink currently services and the designated stops. 4.
