Qatar Cricket Association Invites Nominations for Female Players to Join National Women’s Teams Training
The Qatar Cricket Association (QCA) has officially launched an open call for nominations of talented female players to join the training programs of the national women’s teams. This initiative is part of QCA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen women's cricket in Qatar by identifying and developing local talent through collaboration with cricket academies across the country.
The training opportunities are open for three categories:
1. Senior National Women’s Team.
2. Under-19 (U19) Team – for players born in 2006 or later.
3. Under-16 (U16) Team – for players born in 2009 or later.
Nomination Criteria:
The QCA encourages academies to nominate female players who meet the following requirements:
Strong technical skills and physical fitness.
Commitment to attending regular training session.s
Good health condition.
Fall within the designated age groups.
Hold legal residency status in Qatar.
Required Player Information:
Each nomination should include the following details:
Full Name
Date of Birth
Place of Birth (Indicate if born in Qatar)
Years of residency in Qatar
Playing Position
Team Category (Senior, U19, U16)
Academy Name
Contact Number
Email Address (if available).
The deadline for submitting nominations is 15 June 2025.
Interested academies and individuals are requested to submit nominations through the QCA’s official LinkedIn platform.
All submitted players will be reviewed and evaluated by the technical staff of the respective national teams. Shortlisted players will be contacted directly with training schedule details.
