Qatar national team delegation arrived in Uzbekistan

The Qatar national team delegation arrived in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, ahead of their match against Uzbekistan in the Asian World Cup qualifiers. The Maroons have already secured their place in the playoff round but will aim to conclude the group stage strongly.

The match will take place on Tuesday, June 10, at Bunyodkor Stadium in the tenth and final round of Group 1 in the third stage of Asian qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The team departed Doha on a private flight after completing their morning training session at Khalifa International Stadium. Under the guidance of Spanish coach Lopetegui, the technical staff focused on physical conditioning, tactical drills, and technical refinement.

On Monday, the team will hold their final training session at Bunyodkor Stadium. A pre-match press conference is scheduled for 5:45 PM Tashkent time (3:45 PM Doha time) at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
