Bangladesh Ambassador Bids Farewell to Qatari State Minister for Foreign Affairs
Md Nahid Islam By, H.E. Md. Nazrul Islam, the outgoing Ambassador of Bangladesh to the State of Qatar, paid a farewell courtesy call on H.E. Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Qatar, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the outset of the meeting, both dignitaries exchanged greetings and cordial pleasantries. The Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs congratulated Ambassador Nazrul Islam on the successful completion of his diplomatic tenure in Qatar and extended best wishes for his next assignment as Bangladesh’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation.
Ambassador Md. Nazrul Islam expressed his sincere gratitude to the Government of Qatar for the continued support and cooperation throughout his tenure. He particularly thanked the Father Amir and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for their gracious leadership and for hosting a large Bangladeshi expatriate community in Qatar, ensuring them a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment.
The two sides also discussed avenues for further strengthening the excellent bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Qatar, especially in the wake of the recent visit of His Highness the Amir to Bangladesh, which opened new doors for enhanced cooperation in various sectors.
