In a nail-biting semi-final clash of the T10 Cricket Tournament 2025 (Season 7), hosted by BD Warriors, Sylhet Sporting Club Qatar edged past the formidable BD Victorians in a dramatic Super Over to book their place in the final. The high-voltage match, held early Friday morning (July 4) at the BD Warriors Cricket Ground in Qatar, captivated cricket fans with its intensity and suspense.

First Innings: BD Victorians Set the Bar


Winning the toss and electing to bat first, BD Victorians posted an imposing total of 141 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 10 overs. Their aggressive batting display set a challenging target for Sylhet.


Sylhet Responds with Equal Firepower


Undeterred by the pressure, Sylhet Sporting Club delivered a stellar batting performance, matching the score with 141 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets in their 10 overs. The thrilling tie forced the match into a Super Over decider.


Super Over Drama: Sylhet Takes Control


Batting first in the Super Over, Sylhet Sporting Club smashed 24 runs without losing a wicket. BD Victorians, in response, put up a strong fight but managed only 21 runs, handing Sylhet a narrow yet electrifying 3-run victory.


Player of the Match: Imon’s Heroics

The star of the match was undoubtedly Imon from Sylhet Sporting Club. He played a blistering innings of 77 runs during regulation play and followed it up with all 24 runs in the Super Over. His match-winning performance earned him the Player of the Match title.
