QFA Launches Futsal Referees Training Course for Newcomers

The Qatar Football Association (QFA) has announced an internal training course for new futsal referees, aimed at developing fresh talent in officiating. The course will be held from 26 to 29 August 2025, with registration now open for interested participants.

Eligibility Requirements:


To qualify for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:


1. Age: Between 18 and 35 years.


2. Physical Standards: Weight must not exceed 68 kg, and height must be at least 172 cm.


3. Fitness: Applicants must be medically fit to practice sports.


4. Deadline: Applications must be submitted by Sunday, 24 August 2025.


5. Background: Preference will be given to those with previous experience in futsal or football at a formal level.

Registration Process:


Applicants should visit the Referees Committee Office in Al Sadd area to complete the registration process by filling out the official form. A valid medical fitness certificate is required, along with copies of:


Passport.


QID (National ID card).


Academic qualification certificates.


Two recent passport-size photos.
