35th Doha International Book Fair 2026 – Now Hiring Event Staff

The Doha International Book Fair 2026 is set to return this May at the Doha Exhibition & Conference Center (DECC), bringing together publishers, authors, and book lovers from around the world. As one of the most prestigious literary events in the region, this is your chance to be part of a world-class cultural experience.




To support this major international event, we are currently hiring enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for event staff roles.

📍 Event Details

  • Location: Doha Exhibition & Conference Center (DECC), City Center
  • Event Duration: May 14 – May 23, 2026
  • Pre-Event Setup: Approximately 5 days before the event (dates to be confirmed)

⏰ Working Hours:

  • Opening Day (May 14): 11:45 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Fridays (May 15 & 22): 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Other Days: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM

💼 Available Positions

🧾 Cashiers

  • Prior POS experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

📖 Book Sellers

  • Assist customers with book selection
  • Provide recommendations and drive sales

✅ Requirements

  • Full Availability: Must be available for the entire duration (including setup days)
  • Communication Skills: Ability to interact professionally with international visitors
  • Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting book boxes and standing for extended hours
  • Legal Requirement: Must hold a valid Qatar ID (QID)
