QatarPest control drive ongoing across Qatar municipalities

All the municipalities across Qatar have handled 6,426 applications for clearing insects in various areas around the country from February 28 to March 28. These include 1,385 applications at Doha Municipality, Al Rayyan (1,439 applications), Umm Slal (1,253), Al Daayan (880), Al Wakrah (842), Al Khor and Al Thakhira (297), Al Shamal (123), and Al Sheehaniya (97).

The applications were submitted through the various platforms of the Ministry of Municipality, including 4,485 applications through the Oun App, 1,831 via the unified call centre, and 110 through the ministry's website.

The ministry has been exerting continuous efforts where the municipalities regularly carry out preventive campaigns to eliminate inspects and pests. In addition, there are constant efforts to enhance public awareness on how to limit the spread of inspects and raising public awareness to related services and the necessary application process for interested parties.
